National Day of Reflection Today we join Marie Curie and millions of people across the UK in a minute’s silence and doorstep vigil to remember all those who have died from the coronavirus. Remembering with Marie Curie A minute’s silence at noon will be followed by a “beacon of remembrance” at 8pm, with all of us encouraged to stand on our doorsteps with candles and torches. Community-led activities, including virtual choirs and services, are also planned for today. At Greenbelt we’re proud to officially support Marie Curie – a charity that holds a very special place in our hearts – and we will be taking part in these important memorial events for the National Day of Reflection. Whether you’re living with a terminal illness or caring for someone who is, Marie Curie is there to help with practical information and emotional support.
