As COP 26 gets going in Glasgow we’re delighted to announce Gordon Millar will be driving forward our own eco mission in his evolved role as Sustainability & Biodiversity Manager.

The management of Public Open Spaces is becoming increasingly more complex as we all strive to tackle climate change, provide nature-based solutions and meet forthcoming BNG legislation.

Gordon, who joined Greenbelt four years ago, said: “As land management increasingly embraces the need to boost biodiversity – and enhance the general wellbeing both of our environment and communities – my role has been reshaped to best help Greenbelt remain at the forefront of these important endeavours.”
Greenbelt MD Colin Thomson commented: “A Chartered Biologist and Chartered Environmentalist, Gordon has more than 30 years in the sustainability field and is ideally suited to the enhanced role of Sustainability & Biodiversity Manager.”
