Storm Ciara Warning

We’d like to alert our customers that the Met Office has issued severe weather warnings as Storm Ciara brings heavy rain and widespread gales to the UK.

The low-pressure system, which developed in the North Atlantic and has tracked eastwards to the UK, brings 60mph gusts inland and 80mph gusts in higher and coastal regions.

Weather Warning

We’d like to alert our customers that the Met Office has issued weather warnings, with very strong winds forecast to hit parts of the UK tonight around 9pm and continue into tomorrow morning.

Greenbelt Strengthens Team

Having recently reached a 60,000-plus household customers milestone, Greenbelt continues to grow its operations and boost the brand right across the UK.

As part of our mission to continuously improve our high-quality land maintenance and management, we’re strengthening our dedicated Services Team, incorporating in-house appointments in Operations and Customer Care, as well as external recruiting for the post of Area Operations Manager North East England and Regional Operations Manager in Scotland.

SUDS v Storms

In the wake of Storm Brendan there’s an increased risk of flooding across many parts of the UK . . . but this is just part of a much bigger threat.

The number of households in the UK at risk of flooding could more than double by 2050 – affecting more than 1.9 million homes – due to the effects of climate change.

Meet The Expert: Peter Lamb

With a background that has always been in agriculture, forestry, horticulture and all things based in country life, it should come as no great surprise  Peter Lamb chose to set up Eskvalley Landscapes in 1976.

Eskvalley are grounds maintenance contractors who work with property and land management companies.

“We’re a family business and pride ourselves in working to high standards with a highly trained workforce,” says Peter. “We’ve been contracted to Greenbelt for more than 10 years now and cover a wide variety of work programmes with them.”
