All about Horsforth Vale

This unique estate is located to the north west of Leeds and incorporates two separate developments: Horsforth Vale at Calverley Lane and The Woodlands at Horsforth.

Both share one recreational open space that boasts a cricket pavilion, cricket pitch, junior football pitches and allotments. All of these features are funded equally by all homes on both developments, allowing quick and easy access to a range of varied recreational open spaces.

Currently leased out to a local cricket club, the age band of the pavilion is rated at 1930-50. We’re proud to manage this authentic piece of English sporting history for the benefit of local fans.

Being on the outskirts of the city, Horsforth Vale is within easy reach of city centre amenities yet enjoys the benefits of the open countryside.

To complement this rural setting on the picturesque banks of the river Aire, Redrow chose to build their award-winning Heritage Collection homes here.

Meanwhile, the eight large-sized allotments are protected by security fencing, and ready to be leased out to homeowners on both developments following a ballot.

How we made this possible

Greenbelt’s Delivery Team worked closely with Redrow Homes to facilitate the efficient handover of the landscaping, utilising Greenbelt’s contract services to achieve a complete site handover to Greenbelt within a 21-month period.
