Family Crest Workshop Celebrates Coronation Northstowe Arts group, which aims to support community development through creativity, is to hold a Coronation-themed art workshop... and everyone is welcome! As long-time supporters of the Northstowe community, Greenbelt are delighted to have put £300 sponsorship into the frame. The Coronation Emblem pays tribute to King Charles III's well-known love of the natural world, and depicts different plants from the UK's home nations. Workshop participants are invited to design their very own family crest, with expert advice courtesy of artist Syrah Arnold. There will also be the chance to transform your crest into a fun flag or bunting to be displayed during the Coronation weekend. The workshop, which is absolutely free and open to all ages, will take place at the Warm Hub, on the second floor of Northstowe Secondary College, on Wednesday April 12 from 10am-12.30pm.Good luck to all the artists! If you’d like Greenbelt’s support for your own arts, sports, charity or community project, please do get in touch here.
