Remembering with Marie Curie
Today we join Marie Curie and millions of people across the UK in a minute’s silence and doorstep vigil to remember all those who have died from the coronavirus.
A minute’s silence at noon will be followed by a “beacon of remembrance” at 8pm, with all of us encouraged to stand on our doorsteps with candles and torches.
Community-led activities, including virtual choirs and services, are also planned for today.
At Greenbelt we’re proud to officially support Marie Curie – a charity that holds a very special place in our hearts – and we will be taking part in these important memorial events for the National Day of Reflection.
Whether you’re living with a terminal illness or caring for someone who is, Marie Curie is there to help with practical information and emotional support.
You can call free on 0800 090 2309 to talk to a trained support line officer or a nurse.
