Greenbelt Strengthens Team

Having recently reached a 60,000-plus household customers milestone, Greenbelt continues to grow its operations and boost the brand right across the UK.

As part of our mission to continuously improve our high-quality land maintenance and management, we’re strengthening our dedicated Services Team, incorporating in-house appointments in Operations and Customer Care, as well as external recruiting for the post of Area Operations Manager North East England and Regional Operations Manager in Scotland.

We are delighted to announce three new ‘homegrown’ appointments.

Congratulations to Chris McLellan, who takes on the position of Customer Service Manager. This is a multi-faceted role that involves managing Customer Services and Operations Administration, as well as dealing with Glenrothes Woodland management and meeting Residents’ Associations.

“I believe this role is absolutely key to further developing our team, not only maintaining but continually improving our first-class service to all our customers,” says Chris. “This means working closely with our teams of expert contractors across the UK.

“Management is new to me but I’ve supervised Customer Services for a considerable time and I’m really looking forward to the new challenges. I don’t like to stand still and I’m always keen to continue to learn and develop my skills with the support of my colleagues.

“That’s where Greenbelt really excels: enabling everyone to be the best they can be.”

Congratulations, too, to Tariq Saeed, who becomes our new UK Operations Manager. “My new role will certainly be far reaching, as it involves managing and supporting all of the Regional Operations Managers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland,” Tariq explains, “as well as liaising with our contractors on our existing estates and new home developments.

“My primary mission is to oversee a first-class service delivery at all times, ensuring the highest standard of maintenance is delivered on all of our greenspace developments throughout the UK.”

Donald Ferguson, meanwhile, is delighted to be given the opportunity not only to continue his career with Greenbelt but also contribute to and enhance the high level of service provided in his new appointment as Services Manager.

“Working in a dynamic environment, with a forward-thinking team, has been important to me since I started my career with Greenbelt,” says Donald.

“I’m relishing the opportunity to develop and grow this position, while not only maintaining but exceeding the high standards of service we as a company strive to achieve.”
