Our Customer Liaison Officer Nick Upton was delighted to meet up again with local residents in North Hamilton – this time to present the Residents Association with litter-picking equipment.

The Wonder of Wildflowers

At Greenbelt we love wildflowers. Sadly, a staggering decline in agricultural meadows has seen their vital habitats lost across much of the UK.

That’s why so many of our landscaped new home developments incorporate meadows and grass areas, where many different species of flower and grass are free to grow.

Greenbelt's Hedgehog Rescue

While Greenbelt provides sustainable land management services to more than 55,000 households UK-wide, it’s important not to forget that our developments are also a crucial urban habitat for many thousands of tiny animal lives too!

With that in mind, we’d like to congratulate Mr Mal Vickers, one of our Regional Operations Managers, whose quick reactions saved the life of a hedgehog that had become trapped in the water on our Millhouse Green development in Penistone, Barnsley.
