The UK's largest land management company, Greenbelt, has strengthened its Board as it positions itself for growth throughout 2012.
David Armour has been appointed as the new Chairman while Brian Bassett has been named as Managing Director of the Glasgow-based business.
In a Board-level reshuffle, former-MD Alex Middleton has now become Chief Executive Officer of parent company Greenbelt (Holdings) Limited, concentrating on Group Policy, Strategy and opportunities in the growing energy sector.
MD Brian Bassett said: "I am excited at joining the leading land management company in the UK, particularly during this exciting time of growth and providing sustainable solutions for local authorities, developers and residents."
Brian joined Greenbelt from Meadfleet, a land management company based in Stevenage, in south-east England. He will be based in Glasgow but will concentrate on new business in England.
