As you can see from our latest pictures, the green spaces managed by Greenbelt in Cove are looking perfect for the summer!
This is all thanks to the sterling work of our contractors, Andy Russell and his expert team.
And today they wanted to show off their brand new machinery and fleet vehicles: the tools of the trade for helping to manage and maintain areas that benefit the entire local community.
Well, boys will be boys!
In fact, Cove is the perfect example of a community working together with Greenbelt to care for and take pride in their local area.
The residents have their own community projects and Greenbelt are proud to be able to work with them to help them achieve their goals.
Andy Russell said: “We’ve been maintaining Charelston Meadows in Cove now since 2009. As with any new landscape planting within a development, the early years can be challenging and Cove has been no different, especially given its coastal location and exposure to the harsh North East winds.
“However, year on year now we are continuing to see the results of a good quality management and maintenance regime we have in place between Greenbelt, the residents of Cove, Cove and Altens Community Council and ourselves.
“As a result, the landscape planting throughout the development continues to establish and mature as designed, making Cove a development we are all proud to say we are associated with.”
