Our Customer Liaison Officer Nick Upton was delighted to meet up again with local residents in North Hamilton – this time to present the Residents Association with litter-picking equipment.
Greenbelt’s own regular maintenance regime is fully committed to ensuring litter-free open spaces for our customers.
Unfortunately, sometimes littering can become widespread outwith developments and it takes a community-wide effort to tackle this problem.
Despite the wet and wild weather on the day, two teams from the North Hamilton Residents Association eagerly took to Hamilton’s streets, using the Greenbelt equipment to clear litter in many areas surrounding their own beautiful estate.
Residents Association members Graeme and Claire Cole thanked Greenbelt and, of course, everyone who turned out on the day to help.
